SIVA ADDICTION TAKES HOME A MIDWEST MUSIC AWARD

(Kansas City, CA – 25 May 2012)  Oklahoma City hard rockers SIVA Addiction have taken home the Best Video Award for their “One Night Rodeo” clip, directed, produced, filmed and edited by Nick Barton and Prestigious Films and shot in Kansas City in February 2011  The band also performed a blistering set at the awards’ after party at Aftershock with Kansas City’s own media darlings Evalyn Awake.

“The video concept takes the rock industry stereotype of a male frontman plucking a fan from the audience and having his way with her and flips it on its head to show that female front women can do exactly the same,” says singer Bridgette Oliver. When pressed for a definition of a “One Night Rodeo” she simply says, “It’s a creative Southern way of saying a one-night-stand!
